Went on a Sunday evening and our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu. He recommended great drinks. It was a great evening because it was not busy. They gave us the option to seat inside or out in the patio, and we chose the patio. The food was on point, and came out nicely done.

We had an amazing experience at Maison Chinoise last Saturday night with friends. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect, and every dish was executed beautifully with incredible flavors. The service was outstanding, especially thanks to our waiter, Billy. He truly made the evening special, and we’ll definitely be back—and requesting him again! Highly recommend this place for celebrating any occasion or even just a cozy date night.

Stylish and contemporary dining room with a bright patio that they can cover for inclement weather. The bar has a warm and elegant feel to it. The menu includes Chinese favorites that you’re very familiar with along with many entrees with some special accents. Our group of six dined family style so we could sample many dishes. All the starters were very nice including king prawn dumplings, crispy rock shrimp and shrimp spring rolls. The sea bass, crispy beef, and scallops entrees were particularly good. Our waiter was attentive and the service was well paced. Overall, we had a lovely meal in an upscale, comfortable setting. They have valet parking but check on the street as well.

Alberto Lombardi really hit a home run here. This is a modern chic Chinese restaurant and speakeasy side lounge. Every time I’ve been here I try something different. I get so enthralled I forget to take pictures. But this last time we had fried rice - nothing like what you have had before. A light sauced rice with vegetables and lobster. Back back again. Wonderful food and atmosphere and service. Absolutely wonderful. Then the Kung Poa Chicken was also not what I’ve ever had before. Each piece was lightly coated with a savory, darks rich spicy coating. Magical. The speakeasy lounge was really cool. Dallas needs this. Lounge style bandnslindes wonderful. I’ll be back.

While going through the Google menu and reviews of this place, we wanted to visit Maison Chinoise. Chinese cuisine is our favorite and the experience here was outstanding. I booked a table in advance online for Valentine’s Day but only got a slot at 4:30 pm even 1 week in advance. Although I wanted it to be a bit later but anyway it is fine. This is a must visit place for all Chinese cuisine and seafood lovers. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The rush was true on 14th Feb. Special mention to Billy who was our attendee during our dinning. He was a great, hospitable and charming person. He made our experience even better. Overall I rate this place 5 on 5. Rates are pretty reasonable keeping in mind the quality of the food and the ambience. We ordered a lot and then when we were not able tot finish we had them packed to go. Ordered the following: Spicy Sichuan Pork Wonton (*2) - 15 ea Crispy Shrimp Spring Rolls - 15 Crispy Crab Wonton - 15 Xiao Long Bao Pork Soup Dumplings - 16 Prawn & Pork Siu Mai - 16 Kung Pao Chicken - 28 Yang Chow Style Combination Fried Rice - 21 Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles - 20 Mochi Ice Cream - 11 Pearl of Wisdom - 14 Mandarin Sunset - 13

I love this place! Came for my daughters 20th birthday and they truly made her feel special. Everyone was so sweet, kind and knowledgeable. The hosts took so many photos of us at multiple occasions. Our server was Travis and he’s prob one of the best I’ve ever had. Soo funny and just very helpful when making food selections. We had certain dietary restrictions and he was able to give us suggestions based on that. Highly recommend this place! Can’t wait to come back!

Update 4/16: We were craving Chinese food so we thought we’d give Maison Chinoise another try. The hostess or manager, I’m not sure, was vivacious and engaging. Our server was on point and took excellent care of us. The food was consistently delicious across all of the dishes. Overall, it was a different experience from our first visit (which was good just not great). This time around we left feeling very satisfied and happy. There’s something about restaurants at this location that feels off. Regardless of the type of cuisine, I’ve watched good restaurants come in only to see them close down. Maison Chinoise is the most recent restaurant to give this location a go. It’s been open for more than a year so we thought we’d give it a try. The space feels upscale and there is a large patio. They set it up so that if the wind is blustery, they can quickly drop down these clear plastic windows to shield you from the wind while retaining the open air feeling. The staff was low energy and didn’t convey a sense that they genuinely cared. I could barely hear the hostess’s voice emanating from her expressionless face. Our server educated us about the menu really well, but overall it felt like he was just going through the motions. They kept our water glasses topped up so we never lacked for hydration. The timing of things felt either too fast or too slow. We ordered several appetizers that all came out in rapid fire succession. Then we waited awhile for the entree and sides. We wanted dessert but it took so long for the waiter to get us the dessert menu and return to take our order, we gave up and passed on it. He didn’t seem to care either way. The food was a mixed bag ranging from odd to good. The pork dumplings and spicy edamame (which was flavorful but not spicy) appetizers were good. The crispy beef spring rolls had a weird lemony zest to them. They weren’t bad. I just could get my brain to compute the flavor profile. I had a similar experience with the General Tso’s chicken. It wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it. The green beans tasted good but the residual heat from the spice became too much about half way through the portion. If you really like Chinese food and want to experience it in a finer dining environment, Maison Chinoise fits the bill. In my opinion, there is something slightly askew going on and I hope they break the cycle of all of the prior restaurants that have given this location a try.
